Hi Crafty friends, hope you are all well. School holidays here in Perth WA at the moment means that little old me doesn't get much creative time.
I completed my first project for http://thescrapbookstore.com.au this week. did you know that there is a fantastic sketch challenge on the blog? Please visit for your chance to win :-).
Here is the sketch created by the fantastic Marelize.

And here is my take on the sketch:
I used the gorgeous Forever Green collection from Prima Marketing Inc. The large frame is from Dusty Attic and the flowers are Petaloo. I inked the first piece of my chipboard frame with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Wild Honey. I then used Stampendous embossing enamel in Aged Ivory on the top layer. I added a Prima lace sticker which I inked with the Wild Honey distress ink and a Prima chipboard butterfly which I painted using Twinkling H20's. I did some fussy cutting on the reverse of the paper and cut out some of the little butterflies. I then framed them with epoxy stickers. A bit of lace, some leaves and some Collections tissue paper to finish off the embellishing at the top,
For the bottom corner I used the smaller Dusty Attic frame and repeated the steps above. I added another little butterfly from the reverse of the paper and covered with a smaller epoxy dot. The Love title is a wood veneer from Words or Whatever and I added some orange Ranger Liquid Pearls to match the papers. A little bit of lace and a Petaloo flower finished it off. The yellow spots were Aladine pigment inkz in Citronella.
All products available from http://thescrapbookstore.com.au.
