Hi everyone, well the school holidays are finally over here in Perth, so a lot of catching up to do.
This morning I am going to be sharing my first official projects for The Scrapbook Store. I got to create with the absolutely stunning new paper collection from Bo Bonny, Madeline.
I love this paper range and decided to try some different techniques. The back sheet is the reverse of the beautiful Roses. I then cut 2 of the lace strips from Exquisite. The middle panel is Madeline.
I sprayed the lace border with the new Tim Holtz Distress Sprays in Tattered Rose. I then inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Gathered Twigs.
I used my Kaisercraft flourish stencil with Wendy Vecchi for Studio 490 crackled paste. I then lightly ran my finger over the cracks with Tim Holtz Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.
The stunning 2 part chipboard frame is by Blue Fern. I covered the back piece with Symmetry paper the heat embossed the front piece with Stampendous Frantage embossing enamel in Aged Ivory. These are by far the best embossing powders i have ever used.
I did some fussy cutting from various pieces of the range, little flowers, birdcages and birds. I inked them all with the Tim Holtz Distress Ink. I added a large Prima flower, and an Invild Bolme for Prima Marketing junkyard finding "Love" title. The Precious Memories title is part of an alphabet sticker sheet which is part of the Bo Bunny Madeline range.
I have another layout and my second Scrapbook Store DT project to share later today.
Thanks for visiting,
