Hi Crafty Friends, well it's been a long time since I've blogged my creations. Packing up my old house, moving to a new house, starting a new job and getting my boys organised in new schools has taken up so much of my time. However, all settled now and ready to start sharing my projects again.

I have some exciting news to share but not quite yet, watch this space over the next couple of weeks and I will let you all in on my secret. I've also just finished my first commission piece for a magazine which I am so excited about. I've never even submitted to a magazine so when I was asked to write a commission piece I was blown away. More details on that too in the next week or so.

I'm sharing over the next few day a couple of projects that I made when I applied for the Prima DT. Obviously I never made it but had a lot of fun creating these little altered pieces.

To all my fellow vintage lovers, this is not a real sewing machine,  it's an ornament I picked up from a local shop and the first 2 photos are what it looked like before I started working on it.

I used the gorgeous Prima Time Traveller Collection which has to be one of my favourites.

Lots of gorgeous flowers, some resin, some bling and some Dusty Attic chipboard were added to embellish.

I bought some drawer knobs from a local DIY store and added a fussy cut flower. The lace I got from a local craft store.

I added some metal buttons and some chenille wool to the edges. I inked the paper to give it an older feel.

Thanks for popping in today, I appreciate your visit and would love it if you could leave me a comment.

Tomorrow I have another altered piece to share with a mixed media twist.
