Hi again Crafty Friends and thank you for visiting me again.

Some news that I've been keeping to myself for a while which I can now share with you. As well as teaching and working at The Scrapbook Store, I have now been invited to join the DT!!! I am so excited about this DT,  the shop has such an amazing range of products and Suzanne  (owner) is such a pleasure to work with.  I love the other DT ladies' work so it really is going to be a fantastic DT to be on.

My second DT announcement is a brand new chip board company called Your Creative Wings. It's owner and designer is Audrey Underwood whose work I really admire. Exciting times ahead!!!

I would love to share another altered project with you today. Again, all Prima products because it was was of my other submissions for their DT. So here it is, my altered light house.

I picked up the light house at a local grocery  store and covered it with the gorgeous Seashore collection. I then used the matching stamps to embellish it.

The base is actually a one of the trays that you get to place cakes on. I covered it with tissue paper and sprayed with Prima color Bloom spray. I cut up the papers and added the wording to the middle. Again, the ships are the co-ordinating chip board from the Seashore range.

I stamped round the edges with the seaweed stamps from the line and added some ink to the edges. I love the way that the waves turned out!!! I used Golden Light Modelling paste and teased it into shape to create a spray effect.

I had a lot of fun at our local beach with my boys collecting loads of different shells and sand to add to the base of the lighthouse. I sprayed some medical gauze with Prima Color Bloom Mist and wrapped it around the bottom before adding our beach treasure. Some twine around the doors and windows added to the nautical effect.

I added some more twine and chipboard to the top and finished off by painting the light with more Color Bloom spray.

Thanks for visiting me today, hope that you can come back soon.
