Hi everyone, as promised today on my blog I have my oldest son.
I've scrapped these photos before but I love them. He was going through chemotherapy at the time for Leukemia and had just lost all of his hair. I love the emotion in his eyes. I wanted to keep this layout really simple to focus on the photos rather than the background.
I used the gorgeous My Mind's Eye Lost and Found papers for this layout. No flowers, no bling and no masking. Been a long time since I have created a simple layout but love the way it turned out.
I framed the second photo using one of Ingvild Bome's frames for Prima, I just love these. I painted it with some Smooch Glitz to add some colour.
Some neutral twine, Tim Holtx distress ink round the edges and some layers and the layout is finished.
Hope you like my simple layout of my oldest son. sometimes it's nice to go back to the basics.Tomorrow I have my youngest son on the blog and something completely different from this.

Wow Jen!! I really love this page. What an adorable photo of your son. Cannot imagine what the poor litte fellow had to go through with leukemia at his young age. Must have been so stressful for all of you. It's easy to see the love that went into creating this page ... it is stunning!!! ox
