Christmas Star album for Meg's Garden

Hi everyone, I have had such a lot of fun this year making lots of Christmas decorations. Being relatively new to crafting I have never made Christmas decorations before so this year has been a treat. I instantly fell in love with the papers and embellishments I received in my DT pack from Meg's Garden. I've wanted to try making a star album for such a long time and knew this paper selection would be perfect.

The papers in the mini card makers pack were the perfect size.

The trim is a paper doilley  I received in my pack. I added a few embellishments of my own.

The frame over the angel image was also included in my pack from Meg. I painted it a bright red and inked the edges with a Tim Holtz distress ink Ribbon and some fibre trim added some further detail. The holly is also available from Meg's Garden.

More of the beautiful vine trim from Meg's Garden, I just trimmed it so that I could use it on more pages.

For this page I used a Christmas tree die and added some glitter.

I trimmed my final page with some pearl trim from my previous pack and added some angel wings.

Once the album is fully unfolded, this is what it looks like.

I loved making my first star album and will definitely make another one. It is quite time consuming but once the star shape is "built" the results are worth it. The papers from Meg's Garden really are the perfect size. Why not visit Meg's shop and pick up some goodies and try one for yourself?

Thanks for visiting.
