Hi everyone, I'm back :-).
My personal circumstances changed after the New Year, my husband and I decided to separate after 16 years together so I took some time out from blogging to get myself settled. Now I am back with loads to share with you. My first project this week is for the Prima Product Pick (PPP). The pressure is on. My third time entering this challenge with Prima and the last twice I have won, so no pressure :-).
I loved the colour scheme in this months challenge:
Lots of beautiful pastels. Sadly the new releases from CHA 2014 haven't yet hit any of my local stores so I decided to use the beautiful Divine collection for my mannequin. I just love everything Jodie Lee designs for Prima.
So here we are, my take on this months Prima PPP. My altered paper mosaic mannequin.
The mannequin took me about 3/4 days to create and I think there around 200 pieces of "paper" mosaic.
I trimmed all the pieces into rectangles and squares and pieced them all back together leaving a tiny gap between to create a mosaic effect.
I added some lace trim to create a lingerie effect.
A beautiful Prima flower on the waist, some bling and a wooden button to add some detail.
To the back I added a set of Ingvild Bolme for Prima angel wings.
A close up of some of the detailing on the back.
Thanks for joining me today. I had loads of fun creating my mannequin and she now has pride of place in my hallway.
