Hi everyone, it's the beginning of the month and that means more sketch challenges!!! A lot of the themes that I am seeing in the challenges is "Summer", which is nice because we have just went into Winter here in Australia. The theme for OUAS is "What is your guilty pleasure?" .

My "Guilty Pleasure" since moving to Australia in 2011 is visiting the beach. The photos in my layout were taken at Lucky Bay, Cape Naturale National Park in January 2013, a truly beautiful part of the world. The sand on my layout came from that beach, as did the shells. I wanted to incorporate the waves and skyline into the layout without paint blending into the photo so used some cardboard.  Hope you like it!!




I also entered this layout into Berry 71 Bleu's June challenge. Their theme for June is "What do you love to do most in Summer?". Check out  the challenge for Berry 71 Bleu here

    Oh wow.. I wish that was MY feet! what a wonderful perspective!! and I love the beach too.. the scene you have created around the photo is amazing.. I really love this layout.. well done!!
