Change is Beautiful - Berry71Bleu

Hi everyone, I haven't done a challenge for a while so decided to enter the November challenge over at Berry71Bleu, the sister site of Zeus and Zoe.

The theme this month is Change is Beautiful.  There is also a beautiful mood board for inspiration. To see the challenge, pop over and visit Berry71Bleu.

I decided to create an altered project for this challenge and created a Kaisercraft OTP writing desk. another one to add to my collection. 

I used the gorgeous new paper collection from Prima "Anna Marie". 

The resin pieces are also from Prima, as is the beautiful flower vine.I painted the frame with Smooch Glitz and the butterfly with a variety of Perfect Pearls.

I painted the writing desk with a mix of Kaisercraft dusky pink and antique white acrylic paints. I then trimmed the edges with some lace from my stash.

I bought the butterfly from a local gift shop and used Twinkling H20's from Luminarte to paint it. The pearl flourish is from Prima. The cream rose trim is from Websters Pages.

The feet at the bottom are knobs from an old chest of drawers.

Change is Beautiful and I have had a lot of changes in my life over the last year. I believe that the butterfly is the best representation of change. I hope that you like my altered writing box.
